Welcome to the Jackson/Mann Community Center!
Since 1976, the Jackson/Mann Community School and Council, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, has supported the Allston-Brighton community through education, cultural activities, social programs, and recreation. The Council works in partnership with Boston Centers for Youth & Families (BCYF) to offer programs and services at the Jackson Mann Community Center. The Adult Education Program is operated by the Council and provides free educational opportunities and support services to adults in Allston-Brighton and throughout Greater Boston.
The Adult Education Program has grown and adapted over the years to meet the needs of our diverse community. We’re proud to say that 95% of our students are immigrants from over 20 different countries, with various educational backgrounds. Our goal is to help you gain the skills you need for further education, training, or a job that supports your family.
We have supported and guided our students through the process of entering college and job training programs, as well as securing better jobs. We aim to make success stories like these a common reality for all our students.
